UK Benefits Package - What should I get?

  • I'm just beginning work with a UK Private Equity company and they are coming up with a benefits package. Does anyone know what I should look for in this? Or what elements a typical package would have. I'm looking for medical, gym allowance, possibly travel and anything like that. Also, does anyone know how the tax on these would work (except the medical, I already got that answer here!) Thanks so much.


  • Private medical insurance, pension, gym membership, development allowance, season ticket loan, car.
    All are taxable except for pension contributions.


  • i am sure there should be medical, gym, and transport or car included, along with a pension contributions. paid holidays and probably preferential loans and bonuses as added perks.

    how did u land a job with a pvt equity company, if i may ask, as i am looking fr similar opps. Did u graduate in finance or other subjects?
